MAPLE BAY/ GENOA BAY

W
Whether you arrive by road or by water, Maple Bay offers you a glimpse of what life in the Cowichan is all about: the bluest of waters, the white sails of sailboats floating by, quaint houses clinging to the hillsides and, a little pub to meet your friends. Its just a short drive to Birds Eye Cove and the marina where you can launch your boat, or take your sailing lessons.

The Brigantine Pub provides a great location to grab a bite, sip on your favourite brew and watch the sunset on one of the one of the prettiest bays on Vancouver Island. Just by the pub there is access to the public beach where you will find many of the local residents out taking their evening stroll.

A scenic drive along the coast will take you to the quiet waters of Genoa Bay, a favoured destination for water travelers. Make sure you drop into the Grape Vine for an excellent dining adventure. This popular restaurant has limited seating so make sure to phone ahead.

The Maple Bay Marina is also the boarding location for the daily Harbour Air flight to and from downtown Vancouver.
